What affects one union member affects us all. It’s unfair that some NYSUT members must work longer, and contribute more, to earn a significantly reduced pension.
One thing we can do right now is spread awareness by wearing our Fix Tier 6 shirts on the 6th of each month. As part of HWFA's commitment to FIXING Tier 6 Advocacy, we secured funding through a NYSUT Solidarity Grant to purchase HWFA members' Fix Tier 6 shirts last year.
