In November, HWFA won an $18,000 Solidarity Grant from NYSUT. The grant is intended to fund the work of local unions in building internal solidarity and supporting public schools in the community. HWFA is using part of the grant to support and enhance our partnership with the PTA in promoting our school district and working to help pass the school budget.
